P-Shot Treatment

Priapus Shot, or P-Shot, is a pioneering technique performed by injecting platelet-rich plasma (PRP) into the penis to freshen, sensitize and improve its function. P-Shot can also be used as a supplementary procedure to treat Peyronie’s disease, where patches of scar tissue develop along the shaft of the penis, causing penis bending. In this procedure, a small amount of blood is taken from the arm and then placed in a centrifuge from where the plasma is collected. When this plasma is injected into the penis, the growth factors included in the plasma trigger stem cells to stimulate blood flow and the growth of healthy tissue.

If you are suffering from erectile dysfunction or want to improve the size, shape, firmness, appearance and function of your penis or increase your sexual performance, P-Shot may be a useful procedure for you. As with any procedure, you will need to consult your medical specialist to determine whether you are eligible for treatment or not. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia, so the discomfort is very low. Some patients report no pain at all. The process takes about 30-40 minutes. P-Shot has no side effects as it is a process of administering the plasma from the individual’s own blood into their own tissue. The patient can go back to his daily life and perform sexually on the same day. Three to four sessions of this procedure are applied every 2 weeks.
